The ASUS has 2 hard drive slots and 4 memory slots and can expand up to 16gb memory. You could upgrade the display to 1080p and add some extra wireless features and upgrade to a 9 cell battery but you get all that you need in this model right here.Ĭons: My top 2 candidates were the ASUS and the Dell XPS 15. I looked at the 17" and they are just too big for portability. The 15.6" display is plenty large enough for a portable computer. This is my first personal laptop purchase but at work I have always used a Dell. Pros: I purchased an XPS 15 from Dell Outlet like this but with the 1080p display.
